These terms govern your use of the Pickleball Tracker app for iPhone and Apple Watch ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to apps distributed through the App Store. Where these terms and Apple's Standard EULA conflict on the subject of the software licence itself, Apple's Standard EULA governs.
Subject to that, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
Pickleball Tracker records your matches and generates coaching feedback and statistics, including feedback written by an AI model.
The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It reads health and fitness data such as heart rate, sleep, and calories from Apple Health and presents them as performance and effort signals only. Nothing the app shows is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical judgement. Never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something this app told you. If you feel unwell while playing, stop and seek medical help.
AI feedback can be wrong. Coaching insights are generated automatically from the statistics you record and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for you. Treat them as suggestions, not instructions. You are responsible for deciding what is appropriate for your own body, skill level, and circumstances.
Playing sport carries risk. You take part in physical activity, including any drills the app suggests, entirely at your own risk.
Your match history is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we hold no copy of your data and cannot restore it for you.
You agree not to use the app unlawfully, not to reverse engineer or interfere with it except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law, and not to record information about other people that you do not have a right to record.
The app is free to download and includes a limited allowance of AI coaching features. Pickleball Tracker Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited AI debriefs, season-long coaching insights, partner and opponent analytics, and CSV export.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service, not by us; requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We may change subscription prices or features, but any price change will apply only from your next renewal and Apple will ask for your consent where required.
AI coaching features depend on a network connection and on third-party services. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app. We will not remove a paid feature you are actively subscribed to without offering you a way to cancel and obtain the remedy Apple's terms provide.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, for lost data, or for injury arising from physical activity you chose to undertake. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You may have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
